Wednesday 31 July – Linn Lounge Presents... The Beatles

Very nearly a full house at our “Linn Lounge Presents……. The Beatles” event this Wednesday. It was so heavily subscribed that we had to run the event over two rooms, with the music distributed via Songcast and the dialogue via radio mike. Great to see most of “the usual suspects” attending as well as some new faces. Sorry a few of you couldn’t make it on the night. I’m afraid you missed a good evening.

Andy Oattes from Linn Products very kindly (and ably) did the presentation while Chris took care of the music and Catherine was the perfect hostess, as ever. Very much a “beer” event, as it happens. At our previous Led Zeppelin Linn Lounge event, record quantities of red wine were consumed. I wonder what the significance of that is, (if anything)?

Our next planned event is “Linn Lounge Presents……. The Eagles”. Date to be announced. Watch this space. In the meantime, we’ll start laying down the Tequila!
